Your account

You need a Cinemabaaz account to stream a film, including free screenings. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity on your account. Accounts are for personal, individual use. You must be at least 13 years old to create one, and if you are under 18 you should use Cinemabaaz with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Rentals, purchases and free titles

• Rental: a rental gives you 48 hours of viewing access from the moment the rental is activated. After 48 hours the title returns to your library as locked.
• Purchase: a purchase gives you unlimited personal viewing access for as long as the title remains available on Cinemabaaz.
• Pre-purchase: some titles can be rented or bought before release. Access unlocks automatically at the release date and time shown on the film page.
• Free screenings: some titles stream free. You still need an account, and we record that a view took place so filmmakers know their audience size.

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Access is a licence to view, not a transfer of ownership.

What you may not do

You may not record, download, re-stream, screen publicly, share your access with others, circumvent our playback protections, or upload our films anywhere else. Streams may be limited to a small number of simultaneous devices, and playback may carry an identifying overlay. Breaking these rules can result in your account being suspended without refund.

Film rights and submissions

Every filmmaker keeps full ownership of their film. Cinemabaaz is a distribution platform, not a rights buyer. When you submit a film you grant us a non-exclusive licence to stream it on Cinemabaaz and to use its poster, stills, title and synopsis for promotion.

Submission fees are listed on the submit page and cover review and publishing. For the revenue-sharing plan, the filmmaker receives 80% of net rental and purchase revenue for their film and Cinemabaaz retains 20%. We may decline any submission at our discretion.

Availability

We aim to keep Cinemabaaz online and playable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Titles may be added or removed as licences change. If a title you purchased is removed permanently, contact us and we will look at it case by case.

Liability

Cinemabaaz is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
